Typical First Post & Mission

Yes, this is my first post, as written in a million other blogs around. However, this is not an ordinary "my thoughts" blog - I already have one of those at http://jroller.com/page/hugopinto anyway.

This blog is the result of my recent acquisition of the JVC GR-PD1 progressive scan video camera, and is meant to be a aggregating space for any information I find out about the camera. I'll keep the relevant posts on a "quick links" bar, and have a way for people to refer to them in a fast way.

If you are an owner of a GR-PD1 camera yourself, this page is made for you. But no, I'm not only a 100% unselfish volunteer who simply likes to share what he learnt about the camera - my purpose is clear: If you own the camera and find this information useful, and know something about the camera that I haven't included yet, please post it either as a comment or in an email to me (hugo.pinto at gmail.com), so that I can post it here and all the other owners can benefit from it as well. That will be the blog's motto - mutual benefit.
